The following lists the senior officers of the Athena
and others who were on the starship at the stort of the fourth series of episodes. Characters
who debuted in the fourth series have their first appearance indicated when available. The
characters are human unless otherwise stated. The eight senior officers have their own pages showing an image and some
basic biographical data. Several other crewmembers have their own pages as well, with the links

Lieutenant Commander T'Kor-intelligence officer (she is a Vulcan).
Lieutenant (junior grade) Richard Ipuni-quartermaster, first appeaed in "The perfect Solution."

Third Shift Bridge Officers:
Ensgin Adam Leginn-pilot, first appeared in "The Wages of War."
Ensign Joel Ngamagawa-tactical officer, first appeared in "The Wages of War."
Ensign Nathan Gliesse-alternate tactical officer.
Lieutenant Judy Capullo-science officer, and her first appearance was in "Strange New Worlds."
Security Officers:
Lieutenant Pa'o Ha'iakwa-security officer, and he was promoted to the assistant security chief in "The Memory of the Man." He is known for being athletic and strong.
Lieutenant Brenda Gomez-security officer, was promoted to full lieutenant by "Coming Home."
Lieutenant Giselle Mannheim-a security officer with experience in the Starfleet Marines.
Claude Isadore-security officer.
Ensign Craig Warner-security officer, first episode appearance was in the fourth series.
Ensgin Dar Mkholupe-security officer.
Ensgin Edward Chan-security officer, and another officer with field medical training.
Ensign Zuridah Allende-security officer. She has some engineering training, mostly in field-repair of equipment, and by "Coming Home," had field medical training as well.
William Drell-security officer, first appeared in "Lost Soul."
Lieutenant Alison Jones-security officer, first appeared in "Indistinguishable from Magic."
Ensign Kevin Wickenheimer-security officer.
Science Officers and Technicians:
Lieutenant Connie Lee-historian, an officer who had served on many ships.
Lieutenant Helene Richeleu-she is the ship's archaeological expert, and so gets to go on lots of away missions to all the ruins-filled worlds the Athena encounters in its journeys.
Lieutenant Henry Trujewski-a physicist and astrophysicist, was promoted to full lieutenant by "Coming Home."
Lieutenant Edmund Corsi-The ship's zoologist. He was promoted to full lieutenant by "Coming Home."
Ensign Daniel Combes-a biologist and the son of a retired Starfleet admiral-his mothter-Combes was long interested in science, and especially the science of life. The Athena is his first deep-space assignment.
Lieutenant Miranda O'Connor-grew up with an Andorian stepmother, and due to the clash of cultures between Earth and Andorian, she pursued a career in sociology and anthropology, and is now considered an expert in alien culture interaction. She has also stdied linguistics.
Lieutenant Victor Lilidos-he is a meteorologist and atmospheric physics specialist, which is not exactly a busy profession on a starship, but there is some alien weather to study.
Ensign Orten Waye-a biologist.
Lieutenant Isabella Sanchez-astronomer.
Lieutenant Richard Attwater-he was knowledgeable in material sciences and biology, and had some experience in combining the two in terms of androids. He was promoted to full lieutenant by "Coming Home."
Lieutenant Chad Derrickson-an astrophysicist.
Ensign Ryn Rexhabas-he is a biologist, specializing in alien biologoy, especially of non-humanoid sentients. He is a Betazoid, but ranks low on telepathic and emphatic abilities. He first appeared in "Eve of Destruction."
Lieutenant Erasmus Quinn-sociologist, first appeared in "Last Soul Lieutenant Tom Morrow-the new archaeologist on the Athena. His first appearance was in "Time and Time Again."
Lieutenant Chad Derrickson-astrophysicist, and he appeared first in "Until the End of the World."
Ensign Carla Chu-she is the new linguist on the Athena, and is fluent in several major Federation languages, but her Klingon "needs work." Her first appearance was in "The Hiding Game Lietenant Ethan Wojeck-anthropologist, who first appeared in "Time and Time Again."
Medical Staff:
Lieutenant Ashana Ngyguen-head nurse and lead medical lab researcher. She is known for her love of various sports, even if she is not that good in them.
Lieutenant André Tieugne-a doctor with medical and marine-officer training, and so often goes on potentially dangerous away team missions.
Lieutenant Lucia Quintollez-the ship's counsellor, born in Lima, Peru, of mixed Spanish and Quechua ancestry. She has also studied archaeology.
Lieutenant Antonia Wildeman-another doctor on board the ship, and she eventually replaced Loetens as the assistant chief medical officer. Her first appearance was in "Future's Wake."
Engineers:
Lieutenant Mark DeWillis-the assistant chief engineer, who took the assignment on the Athena even though it meant eighteen months in a classroom learning all about Odonan warp drive technology.
Lieutenant Megan Wilder-transporter chief.
Lieutenant (junior grade) Don Pak-specialist in impulse engineering, and he also does duty as an engineering bridge officer.
Lieutenant Marlina Tsonga-the computer department head, with expertise in interfacing with alien systems and repairing damaged known systems. She and Hakamura have become an "item" on board the ship.
Lieutenant Mahingoda Dukkottor-she is the ship's environmental systems chief, and fits the role of environmental chiefs by being short, about the only engineer on staff that Dewuchun does not have to look up at.
Lieutenant Hussein El Doubin-engineer specializing in sensors and related technology.
Lieuteant Zack Kap-an engineer specializing in crystal technology, and so maintains the dilithium crystal and the tam-ulk-yr crystal in the warp converter.
Ensign Erik Skolgaad-an engineer with some expertise in legacy engineering, able to understand, repair and use technology that is two to three hundred years old.
Lieutenant Mary Gauve-an impulse engineering specialist, who is getting to know the engines on the Athena very well because of her constant work on them.
Marla Twoson-she is a specialist in structural engineering, and has experience in xenoengineering and alien propulsion technology. Her first appearance was in "Indistinguishable from Magic."
Ensign Raye Swinstei-her area of expertise are the subspace transporters. She first appeared in "Indistinguishable from Magic."
Ensign Richard Yplensky-transporter technical engineer. He first appeared in "The Hiding Game."
